Moon Sweepers Quickest Way to Get Money in the Early Game

Short answer

The quickest start is to clean the first 15 sections with the toothbrush, sell the dust and buy the nail brush for the next 150 sections. After that the payout grows through Market Contracts, Supplier Network and the other economy upgrades, plus the 195 flags and 26 sites scattered across the Moon.

The opening sections set the pace

The opening income is dust sold at the depot, and the walkthrough splits that stretch into a toothbrush phase and a nail brush phase.

  1. Clean the first 15 sections with the starting toothbrush.
  2. Sell all the dust collected with it, then buy the nail brush.
  3. Clean the next 150 sections with the nail brush, putting part of the takings into upgrades as the sales come in.

Flags, sites and stations pay without cleaning

Exploring the surface pays separately from the dust trade. There are 195 flags at different locations, each flag worth €100, and 26 additional sites worth €250 each, and the guide counts the flags and sites as free money picked up while exploring. Another 12 stations sit around the Moon as well.

Economy upgrades raise every payout

Market Contracts increases the payout of each kilogram of dust by 6%, 12% and 18% across its levels, and Supplier Network discounts tools and containers by 5% and 10%. Region Bounty pays $15 and then $30 every time a region is cleared, while Lunar Exchange carries a 10% launch-payout bonus. Market Contracts and Supplier Network are counted as the two most important economic upgrades in the game.

What the first profits buy

The Building Tool costs $50 and gives access to factories, where the stone press and the pressure chamber are the first priorities. An ideal line connects two pressure chambers to four or six stone presses. A garage costs $200 and stores the vehicles bought from it, the push sweeper is the cheapest of them, and the Mega Vacuum Cleaner follows once J.O.O.N.A.S. units have been added and upgraded.

Automate the delivery

Conveyor belts send materials to the depot without carrying every capsule by hand, so the running between a cleaning spot and the depot stops. The belts have to point at the station intake, and a working connection shows up as rising funds. A depot placed close to the cleaning spot keeps the route short, and the first automated setup pairs one or two basic Robot Vacuums with a simple set of belt routes.
